Identity and visual system for Medieval, an American Cycle company based in Washington, DC. forging BMX bikes with aesthetics inspired by the medieval times. The purpose of the rebranding was to find an identity that looked cool and fresh, while keeping a medieval feel.
Approach:
The monogram/ mark is inspired by the shape of medieval knights helmets which we stylized into a bold letter "M".
Visual language:
Combined with simple animations and a gothic font, the mark is the focal element of the design system.
